Brazil's Top Tabletop Board Games on iOS Show Varied Q1 2021 Performance

As the first quarter of 2021 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has provided a detailed analysis of the top five tabletop board game applications on the iOS platform in Brazil. This snapshot offers a glimpse into the performance of these beloved digital pastimes.

Ludo Club・Fun Dice Board Game, from Moonfrog, showed an upward trend in downloads, starting the quarter with around 10K downloads in the last week of December 2020 and ending with over 15K in the last week of March 2021. Its revenue peaked in the first week of March at approximately $2.3K, and weekly active users also saw a significant rise, finishing the quarter at nearly 37K.

Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a high of over $4K in the first week of January, dropping to around $2.1K by the end of March. Downloads showed a decline from just under 10K in the last week of December to approximately 7K by the end of March, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 40K.

GAMETION's Ludo King saw its revenue hit a high of over $1.1K in the first week of March, with downloads increasing from 6K to over 9K by the end of the quarter. The game's weekly active users also showed growth, with an increase from around 50K to 64K.

The newcomer Bear Dice, by Dianjinshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., had no revenue reported but showed a spike in downloads, reaching over 11K by the final week of March. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at just over 1K and ending at nearly 12K.

Lastly, Dominoes Jogatina: Board Games from GAZEUS GAMES SERVICOS DE INTERNET S.A. displayed a modest revenue trend, with a peak of $315 in the last week of December, dipping to $206 by the end of March. Downloads saw a decrease from 6.6K to 3.5K, and weekly active users remained fairly stable, closing the quarter at around 34K.
